It includes missionary organizations active within Seoul National University, Christian unions of each college, and Christian gatherings of each department. It is also united with the Christian professors' association within Seoul National University, the Christian employees' association composed of Seoul National University staff, and Seoul National University Church.
In seeking and carrying out God's will for Seoul National University, representatives from each organization/college form a council of delegates to coordinate opinions and cooperate with various groups within the university. For efficient operation, student representatives and central committee members are appointed each year to plan united ministries and communicate with Christian professors and staff. Additionally, they collaborate with local churches in the vicinity of Seoul National University, the Campus Evangelization Council, and Christian unions of universities in Seoul and Gyeonggi regions.
The basic operation of SNU Christian Union is united ministry and networking ministry. While SNU Christian Union is an organization, it is not a superior entity to other groups but a union that supports the activation of ministries and active communication among various members of Seoul National University. It also hosts and operates united ministries that individual organizations cannot conduct.
Seoul National University Christian Union includes all Christians and Christian communities within Seoul National University. Member organizations are largely divided into missionary organizations, college Christian unions, and other groups. Members are registered as either full members or associate members, and decisions on membership and withdrawal are made through regular delegate meetings and general assemblies. The current affiliated organizations are as follows (without distinction between full and associate members, in alphabetical and Korean alphabetical order):
(1) Missionary Organizations: ABSK, CCC, CMII, ECU, ESF, Emmaus Campus Ministry, IVF, JDM, JOY, GLDI, SFC, UBF, UDC, YWAM, Navigators, Dooru Mission, Bible Academy, Workplace Mission School, Hansarang Mission
(2) Colleges: College of Nursing, Business School, College of Engineering, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, College of Fine Arts, College of Education, College of Social Sciences, College of Human Ecology, College of Veterinary Medicine, College of Music, College of Humanities, College of Pharmacy, College of Natural Sciences, Liberal Studies. Other churches and gatherings include University Village Church, Seoul National University Church, and Wednesday Praise Meeting. They also closely cooperate with Seoul National University Christian Professors Association, Seoul National University Staff Christian Fellowship, and Seoul National University Missionary Organization Staff Council.
현재 서울대 내에서 활동하고 있는 선교단체들과 각 단과대학 기독인 연합 및 각 과 기독인 모임 등이 소속 되어 있고, 서울대 내의 기독교수 모임, 서울대 직원들로 구성된 기독 신우회, 서울대학교회 등과 연합하고 있습니다.
서울대를 향한 하나님의 뜻을 구하고, 행하는 데 있어서 서울대 내의 각 단체들이 소통하고 협력하기 위해 각 단체/단대 대표들이 대의원회를 구성하여 의견을 조율하고 있으며, 효율적인 운영을 위하여 매 해 학생대표와 중앙위원을 세워서 연합사역을 기획하고, 기독교수님, 간사님들과 소통하는 일을 담당하고 있습니다. 또한 서울대 인접지역의 지역 교회와도 협력하여 사역하고 있으며 학원복음화 협의회, 그리고 서울과 경인지역 각 대학 기연과도 연계하여 사역을 하고 있습니다.
서기연의 기본적인 운영은 연합사역이며 네트워킹사역입니다. 서기연은 하나의 조직이나, 다른 단체들의 상위단체가 아닌 연합체이며 서울대의 각 지체들의 사역 활성화와, 활발한 의사소통을 지원합니다. 그리고 개별단체가 할 수 없는 연합사역을 개최하고 운영합니다.
서울대 기독인 연합은 서울대 안의 모든 기독인과 기독 공동체를 포함하며 구성되어 있습니다. 회원단체들은 크게 선교단체와 단대 기독인연합과 기타 단체로 나누어집니다. 회원은 정회원과 준회원으로 나뉘어 등록되어있으며, 정기 대의원 모임과 연합총회를 통해서 회원가입 및 탈퇴를 결정하고 있습니다. 현재 소속 단체들은 아래와 같습니다.(정회원, 준회원 구분없음. 알파벳·가나다 순)

(2) 단과대학 : 간호대, 경영대, 공대, 농대, 미대, 사범대, 사회대, 생활과학대, 수의대, 음대, 인문대, 약대, 자연대, 자유전공. 그 밖에 교회와 기타 모임으로 대학촌교회, 서울대학교회, 수요찬양모임이 있고 서울대기독교수협의회, 서울대학교직원신우회 및 서울대 선교단체간사협의회와 친밀하게 협력하고 있습니다.
